Seeker Sweep Routes

As Seeker, always sweep perimeter first, then work inward through high-traffic zones. On open maps like Bank, complete a full lap before checking interior corners. On cluttered maps like Arcade, move cabinet-row by cabinet-row.

Per-Map Tips

House

Hider

  • Match wall paint near furniture edges — corners hide lighting mismatches.
  • Use crouch poses behind couches and kitchen counters.
  • Sample colors from the exact wall you plan to stick to.

Seeker

  • Check behind doors and under tables first — common beginner spots.
  • Look for shadow direction inconsistencies on flat-colored surfaces.
  • Sweep room-by-room rather than random wandering.

Grocery Store

Hider

  • Blend with shelf product colors — sample directly from packaging.
  • Flatten pose against end-cap displays works well.
  • Avoid aisle centers where lighting is brightest.

Seeker

  • Scan shelf gaps at eye level — hiders often match product rows.
  • Check freezer section edges for color breaks.
  • Move down aisles systematically, pausing at each end-cap.

Bank

Hider

  • Marble and glossy floors require roughness adjustment — matte yourself down.
  • Teller counter poses are effective but heavily checked.
  • Use pillar shadows to mask imperfect color matches.

Seeker

  • Open floor plan makes sweeping efficient — start perimeter first.
  • Glossy surfaces reveal metallic paint tells quickly.
  • Check vault area and waiting chairs as priority zones.

Arcade

Hider

  • Neon lighting changes perceived color — boost saturation slightly after sampling.
  • Machine cabinet poses blend well with upright arcade units.
  • Dark corners near prize counters are high-value spots.

Seeker

  • Neon glow creates false positives — verify movement before tagging.
  • Check behind every cabinet row systematically.
  • Listen for micro-movements near noisy machine areas.

As Hider, spend prep time sampling colors from your chosen spot — not a similar surface across the room. Adjust metallic and roughness to match how light hits your hiding surface.
